In 2023, I was hired as a freelance copywriter and creative consultant to orchestrate the marketing campaign for a brand new adventure travel category for CamelBak.
CamelBak was so impressed with my work that I was eventually hired full-time as Senior Copywriter in charge of every category across the brand: adventure travel, snow, hike, bike, run, military, and industrial.

We made the Adventure Travel Pack for the optimists. Not the usual “glass half full” types, but the ones who drink straight from the carton. We made it for those who believe there’s an even better view beyond the next hill, or something else worth seeing right around the corner. The ones who throw a swimsuit in their bag just in case they spot a swimming hole on their road trip, or pack a pair of running shoes to sneak in a few miles before their flight home. Wherever they go, they make sure to soak up every last drop.
Adventure is at the core of everything we do. It’s what drives us to find our own path forward. We’ve spent years outfitting professional athletes and amateurs alike with everything they need to tackle the trail. But our new Adventure Travel Pack isn’t about taking the road less traveled, it’s about leaving the road behind.
Most bags aren’t built to travel beyond baggage claim. They’re unceremoniously crammed in overhead bins or shoved inside the dark confines of a hotel closet. They might get you there, but they only get you so far.
